Covid-19 has changed life for so many of us. It’s changed what is important when it is important and how it is important to us. Family and friends mean more than ever. Parents are spending time at home schooling their children and studying at university has a whole fresh look. Gone are the days of only driving to work or computing by public transportation. Now we have an option to work from home.

Online remote learning.

The positive aspect for Learning Professionals has been our talents, and resources are now in demand. People want what we can produce, they need it as fast as we can produce it. This website would not have been something I would not have thought about 6 months ago. I am learning to help others visualize my talents by using technology. I am learning to build websites and be my own IT expert.

Zoom meeting

Conference calls and video calls are now the way to meet. We are learning to be more efficient with technology. Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting, and now Microsoft Teams are seeing more users in this post-Covid environment. Learning Professionals are training leaders on how to make the most of these tools. I see this as an opportunity for us all to grow and embrace learning something new.
